At
Baseline Audio I have very carefully selected the equipment used in our
mastering chains, and when necessary customized features that may not
have been available on the original device. Mastering equipment
is very personal to the mastering engineer who uses it and what may
work exellent for one may not be the right piece for another....
Playback can be analog or digital and mastering may be done completely in the digital or analog domain or a combnination of the two. We use many familiar names including software and hardware by: SADiE, Sony, Digidesign, Waves, TC Electronic, Cranesong, Manley, Z-Systems, Dunlavy, MCI, Studer, Ampex, Mytek and others. For conversion from analog tapes, we are able to cover nearly every format from 1/8" to 2" in nearly every concievable track count from mono to 24 track. A multitude of noise reduction decoding is also available. Many formats of digtal tape can also be played back for mastering or conversion, such as R-DAT, ADAT, DA-88, A-DAM, etc. More pictures of the equipment is coming soon.... |
